Sunland Springs Memory Care and Assisted Living
will be located within Sunland Springs Village. The
first phase of the project will consist of a 48 bed
memory care facility where those who suffer from various
stages of memory loss can be cared for. Phase 2 will
be approximately 80 units of assisted living.
This facility will offer the finest care available
through the help of Milestone
Retirement Communities, a management company that
owns and operates a variety of similar facilities throughout
the western United States. Milestone Retirement has
demonstrated its ability to care for seniors, and has
established a good reputation through a long track record
of success. It is anticipated that phase 1 of this building
will start mid 2011 and take in its first residents
by mid 2012.

10/10/2011 Construction to Begin Soon...
We are waiting for the constructions documents to come back from the city of Mesa. Once that happens we will be able to get a building permit and get started. We anticipate that ground breaking will begin around November 1st 2011. We continue to progress and are very excited about the project. Sunland Springs Memory Care is Submitted to the City of Mesa
8/9/2011 Sunland Springs Memory Care has been submitted to the city and we are waiting for the city approvals. Stay tuned for more information....
6/23/2011: Memory Care Update
We are finalizing the detailed construction drawings and getting those ready to turn into the city. They will probably be submitted in the next couple of weeks. This is the last major approval that we need so that we can start building phase I. The building looks great both on the inside and out. We couldn't be more excited! We are very happy with Mark and Cynthia Warner with Warner Design who have spent some quality time and effort on the interior design. Robert Hipps and John Arnett w Farnsworth Construction will be the general contractors for this building and they are ready to go. Going to Mesa City Council for Approval
Sunland Springs Memory Care goes in front of the Mesa City Council for approval on Monday May 2, 2011. We are very excited and anxious to begin construction on this project. Construction should begin early in the fall of 2011.

Warner Design and Associates was hired out of California to do the interior design work on the project. They have many years of experience designing comfortable interiors for seniors and we are excited to have them as part of the team.
